About Us

Our Headquarters Lone Star Pet Supply is a privately owned independent distributor of pet food and supplies. We sell our products at wholesale to pet, feed, vet and aquarium stores in the southwestern United States. The company is based in Schertz, Texas, which is a suburb of San Antonio. The company also maintains a Texas satellite cross-dock facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. This facility services customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and northern Louisiana. Other areas that we also service are Southern Louisiana and Mississippi. The company has approximately one hundred full and part-time associates. At our headquarters we employ approximately sixty-five associates. Other associates work in outside sales and in our satellite cross-dock facilities.

Warehouse Pack & Ship Area The company stocks approximately 19,000 assorted items for dogs, cats, birds, tropical fish, reptiles, equine and small animals such as hamsters and guinea pigs. The company also sells premium brands of dog and cat foods. These premium brands include Nestle-Purina, Old Mother Hubbard, Wellness, Eagle Holistic, Natural Balance, Merrick & Nutro which are primarily stocked in our Schertz distribution center. The distribution center is just less than 100,000 square feet with approximately 8,000 square feet of offices and has some special features designed specifically for providing value-added services to our customers. These features include a 10,000 square foot climate controlled room for storage of seeds and treats for birds and small animals. We also have a large walk-in freezer area, which stocks frozen foods for salt and freshwater tropical fish.
